Prof. Taeyoon Kim visited Mekong Institute and Khon Kaen University Economics Department in Khon Kaen province, Thailand from July 18 to 23. We introduced the major issues in our lab and discussed the future cooperation & MOU for regular exchange with the Mekong Institute. At Khon Kaen University, an academic seminar was held with professors of economics department.
'Yongeun Lee' attended the 2017 ICAS (International Convention of Asian Scholars) Conference in Chiang Mai, and presented the theme of "Rural Economy and Income Diversification: Evidence from Paksapmai Village in Laos". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 김태윤 교수님 태국 출장 (MI, 콘캔대학교 방문 및 ICAS 2017 학회 발표)

김태윤 교수는 지난 7월 18일부터 2박 3일 일정으로 태국 콘캔의 Mekong Institute(Director = Dr.Watcharas Leelawath)와 콘캔대학교 경제학과를 방문하였다. 메콩연구소와는 연구실의 주요 과제 현안에 대해 소개하고, 향후 한국-메콩 협력방안, 메콩연구소와의 정기적인 교류를 위한 MOU 절차를 협의하였다. 콘캔대학교에서는 경제학과 교수들과 세미나를 개최, 국제농업개발협력 트랙 연구실에서 수행한 연구과제 결과를 발표하고, 콘캔대학교와의 연구 협력 방안 등을 논의했다.
콘캔 일정 이후 7월 20일부터 2박 3일간 치앙마이에서 개최된 ICAS(International Convention of Asian Scholars) 2017 학회에 참석하여 <Rural Economy and Income Diversification: Evidence from Paksapmai Village in Laos> 주제로 발표하였다.
